That is fine: Yes that is fine.   Usually for the first two days, patients are on a liquid diet.   Then a soft diet for the next 3-4 days.  Do not eat any hot and spicy foods.

Eat carefully: It depends on the state of healing. You should ask your surgeon, who probably saw you last week in follow up. A call to his/her office for clarification is the best way to go. If the dentist thinks they need to see you to assess the healing before saying ok then go be seen.

: Dry cereal if not chewed properly can cause irritation of the area. Usually it gets better in a few days. If not better get checked. And dont eat it dry next time

Folliculitis : Well, the idea of putting honey the soap is interesting but I'm wondering if that would result in the soap having some degree of sugar in it. If so, I could conceive the possibility that putting sugar on your skin might predispose towards irritation/inflammation of the hair follicle = folliculitis. Try switching back to Dove and see what happens.
