Over 90% viral...: ...and won't respond to any antibiotic. In early stages, it usually isn't possible to tell. After a few days, persisting fever (&gt;38C), white patches in the throat, or enlarged/tender glands in the neck suggest strep or other bacteria. Ciprofloxacin is not the best choice for strep/bacterial pharyngitis. Amoxicillin, augmentin, (amoxicillin and clavulanate) or a macrolide (azithromycin etc) are more reliable.

my son is  3 years and sick.
he had rsv before
throat infection 
and post nasal drip.

currently i suspect the post nasal and throat infection again. he he coughing during the day but not to much. problem also worsen at night when he sleep?

Rhinosinusitis: Will cause postnasal drip throat irritation and worse at night.  However would also need to think about the possibility of asthma which could also cause a recurring cough worse at night.  Outside chance too of reflux as a cause.  Best to get a doctor examination here to sort through these possibilities as if remains unclear will be able to order tests/refer to specialists

good day. i have had a flu about 6 weeks ago. iv seen my gp and i had throat & ear infection including my ashtma. around 4 weeks i went back as my chest seemed to close up all the time and the dr said it would go away. im still having the tight chest?

Sebaceous cyst: probably infected and you have gone too long without having it evaluated and treated. You may need a surgical excisional or drainage. Call for an exam and treatment.

does anyone recommend mederma for scars?  i just had neck surgery . the incision is healed good and no infection. it's just not looking very good.

It might, : The most important thing deb is to keep the scar protected from the sun. Mederma may help. Do not put vitamin e on the scar as this is an irritant. Scars take up to a year to heal.

Infections: The infections in the sinuses or the just finished root canal treatment either still there or did not go away completely , consult your doctor for treatment.
Swollen lymph nodes are indicative of infections in the areas they drain..

Can't answer..: ..Without knowing you.  It could be you have enlarged tonsils that harbor infection.  It could be you have poor sleep/exercise/dietary habits that lead to increased susceptibility.  There are lots of reasons this could be, and they are best discussed with your doctor who knows you.

Throat closing: Yes it is possible, but in my practice I have noticed that most people who have the sensation of throat closing usually have it as a result of uncontrolled acid reflux disease.
