Find a better Dr: What in the world is a "male yeast infection"? Do not accept this "diagnosis". After the real diagnosis is defined the best treatment can be delivered. A dermatologist??? You neglected to describe the location, appearance, duration, or symptoms.

: Yeast infections do not cause pelvic pain. There are many other possible causes, but if you are sexually active, this suggests possible pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), which usually means gonorrhea or chlamydia -- so get checked ASAP. As for yeast, 10-15% of infections are caused by yeasts resistant to all "azole" drugs. Discuss alternate treatments with your doctor. Good luck.

Rash of genital area: Yeast infections are common in moist environments such as the groin, esp when certain risk factors are present. However, it is unlikely that u transmitted a yeast infection to someone. Other causes for a rash in the genital area should be considered foremost. The problem with herpes is most people don't have the rash yet are infective to others. Characteristics of ur partners symptoms will helpful

New Doctor?: A pimple like sore is not a fungal infection or something that a steroid cream would be best to treat.  Perhaps you need to tell the physician that the treatment plan failed or find a new physician with some expertise in diseases of the skin.

No risk, no worry: STD bacteria and viruses are very fragile and would not surive 3 days of drying. No risk at all.

: Ask your gyn provider about testosterone supplementation with gel or implanted tablets subcutaneously, which can benefit depressed sexual response and libido.  Post-memopausal women frequently produce lower testosterone which may inhibit normal libido.
