No: Allergies are your body's unique reactions to allergens that your body recognizes as foreign to your system.  If it is an inhaled allergen, it would cause sneezing and watery nasal discharge.  If it is an allergen that settled on the skin, it would cause a rash that is generally itchy.  It  is not contagious but rather genetic so it is common for members of family to react to same antigen.

a family member has allergy induced pneumonia, is that contagious? i heard it was not.  i have asthma and i am concerned.

Molds?: Do you mean hypersensitivity pneumonitis which can be caused by an immune reaction to molds or an occupational exposure?  Allergy otherwise does not cause pneumonia.  If the pneumonia is not caused by a virus or bacteria, it is not transmitted to another person. But if you are also exposed to the same environment, your risk of developing pneumonitis is somewhat higher

2  diff  things: Allergies  donot  cause  infection,  so  allergies  not  contagious,   infection  due  to  bacteria  and  virus  are  contagious.

Yes: Sinus infection can be passed by close personal contact or body fluids.  Kissing definantly qualifies.  Allergies can cause sinus inflammation that can mimic infection.  Allergies can also make it easier for an infection to take hold.  I hope this helps.

i'm still testing positive for covid 15 days after my 1st positive test.i feel ok aside from being tired & seasonal asthma/allergies.im supposed to see my 80+ year old parents this weekend.is there a chance i'm still contagious?debating staying home?

: It is almost zero chance that you can transmit the virus after 10 days. The covid test can be positive but it does not mean you harbor a live virus. If it is necessary to see your parents, just go ahead. Take care.

Depends: It depends on how long you have been ill or whether the problem is bacterial or viral plus whether the antibiotic is the right one in a bacterial infection.  In the case of a viral infection, one is likely not infectious to other after about 7  days.  The common bacterial infections requires close contact to be transmitted and usually unlikely contagious after 3 days if on the right antibiotic.

Dbl pneumonia: Double pneumonia means that there is infection in both lungs. It is not per se contagious - acquiring pneumonia of any type is more about the health of the host than the virulence of the infecting organism (with a few exceptions). Your symptoms could be consistent with pneumonia or pleurisy and could follow a viral infection. You should be evaluated in person - you may need blood work and a cxr.

Don't eat: If you are allergic to sea weed the best treatment is to avoid it.  Don't ingest it or if it is a contact allergy try to avoid touching sea weed.  If you want or can;t avoid it then see an Allergist to see what they recommend.
