That won't work.: If the metatarsal and cuboid don't line up, as in a lisfranc fracture dislocation, the only way to line them up and hold them in place is with surgery.  In order to apply enough pressure to the area with tape to reduce he joint, you would get skin break down beneath the tape so its just not a practical solution to this serious problem.

Align is good: There are multiple probiotics in market but align is one of the few probiotic  that has been tried in medical trial on ibs patients with positive response especially patients with diarrhea, gas and bloating.

Stretch: Stretching exercises are very beneficial as well as strengthening of your core muscles in the back and abdomen.  A few sessions of physical therapy can get you on the right track.

Yes...: Culturelle and align, though both probiotics, have different properties.  Culturelle contains exclusively lactobacillus species of bacteria.  Align has a variety of bacteria with the main component bifidobacterium which has been proven in studies to be a more hardy probiotic species.  Go ahead and make the switch.  Good luck!

They aren't watched.: The probiotics are not standardized to know the bacteria stay living on the grocery shelf. While under laboratory conditions, mostly, probiotics work, the same quality control isn't done outside of clinical tests.

to keep my spine/neck properly aligned and avoid waking up tired/achy, which type/firmness/thickness of mattress and pillow should i be using? there are so many choices that it's hard to tell which is best for good sleep & back/neck support.

Don't try too hard: Everyone is different, but generally, I would recommend a firmer mattress with a pillow top, or memory foam.  Don't use too many or too large pillows as this could put the neck too far from neutral alignment.  During the night, your body will find comfortable positions, so just let it.  The best support of the back and neck come from postural exercises while awake!  I recommend yin yoga also!!

The Align: Probiotics are commonly recommended to restore/maintain healthy gut flora.  I am not so sure this will help directly with lactose intolerance.

Yes, also...: Yes, it is very safe and often very beneficial to take multiple strains of probiotics. Research has shown Florastor to be especially beneficial in recurrent C. Diff. infections.
