Not typical: Your symptoms are not typical of HIV infection, they are not ruling it out either. Work up is recommended as other infectious, rheumatologic or blood disorders, among others, may explain them.

Needs a full eval: Failure to have menses by 16 is abnormal. If you add this to periods of abdominal pain & the otherwise developed young woman may have a problem that needs medical attention.Sometimes the vaginal opening is covered by a full membrane rather than a partly open hymen.This can prevent menstrual flow & lead to the symptoms you describe.

Start w/ evaluation: There are lots of reasons for abdominal discomfort ; many are not due to the GI tract. Bowel "problems" often accompany GI disorders--whether functional or "organic." if pain with meals consider peptic (acid), biliary, or pancreatic disease. If bleeding or tenderness is present, this suggests inflammation, ischemia, or infection. Exquisite tenderness is quite concerning. Please see your doctor.

Watch and wait: If you are getting better, you may watch and wait. Drink enough water, fruit juice, electrolyte drinks so that your urine is mostly colorless. If you get fever or there is any bleeding in vomit or stool, go get checked.

Rarely: For liver pain to  develop, the most common problem is expansion of the capsule due to an enlarging malignancy.  The most common liver disease is   fibrosis or cirrhosis secondary to alcoholism, or hepatitis.  Here the primary complication is portal hypertension wherein the liver produces ascites.

Yes: The nerves inside of your body are not as location sensitive as those on your skin. Perceived areas of pain or sensation are vague &amp; regional. You don't get to decide you have one or the other of these issues or both based purely on symptoms. They are sorted out by tests like endoscopy if they are at a level where it is needed. Since both respond to similar treatment tests are often not needed.

Depends on cause: There are many causes of liver disease: drugs/alcohol, obesity, viral infection, autoimmune disorders, injury to the liver, etc.  The common cause is chronic inflammation of the liver leading to scarring.  Most patients do not have any symptoms, except for possibly fatigue due to inflammation, until cirrhosis develops.  Symptoms of cirrhosis include abdominal fullness, confusion, bleeding.
