The world leaders in denture construction still take 5-7 appointments shortcuts can lead to terrible results.  Complete denture construction is still an art not a science.

See dentist first: Have the dentist check out the area. It may be a callused area from an ill fitting partial denture or something else. Have the dentist examine the area, make sure the partial is fitting and does not need to be remade or relined. If the dentist feels it is warranted, you may be referred to an oral surgeon for further evaluation.

Full mouth ext's: The procedure is called full mouth extractions, and can be accomplished in phases or all at once, depending on the treatment plan of your dentist. Broken teeth below the gum will be surgically exposed to be visualized and teased out of the bone with a surgical instrument.

had braces when i was a teen. got them off early due to decay, etc. i have dentinogenesis imperfecta. ill be getting a implant supported denture soon but i have a deep bite. will this affect the success of the procedur? should i fix the deep bite?
