You are not pregnant: If you doubt these two tests then you must stop testing and go to the OB for a blood test.

Ovulating?: Besides pregnancy one of the more common reasons women skip periods or have irregular bleeding is that they are not ovulating.  There are many reasons why this happens.  If it is persistent, you might want to see an Ob/Gyn for some testing to find out why.  Best wishes!

Pregnancy ?'s : Pregnancy is possible but unlikely.  If your birth control is oral bcp's, and over seven days elapsed after your last active pill in the previous cycle, ovulation may occur and therefore pregnancy.  If your period does not begin in a week, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy.

Many causes possible: Please see your gynecologist.  There are several different possible causes for your symptoms.  A thorough history and exam is needed.

2 weeks form when?: If has been 2 weeks since you had sex, then it is probably still too early. If you are talking 2 weeks past when your last period was due to happen, a home test should pick up a pregnancy by tha ttime. If in doubt, have your doc do a serum (blood) test.

Pregnancy testing.: Yes, you could be testing too early.  Consider repeating it a week.

Not how early: When you wake first urine sample. Urine  has been in bladder most of the night. Bladder has ability to extract water raising concentration of solute including hcg. The test is sensitive to this protein. The higher the concentration the more likely for a positive in early pregnancy.

Yes: Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

had 2 hpt two days in a row and they both turned out positive but the first hpt line was darker than the second ..should i  worry ?

Not concerning: As normal pregnancies progress, HCG levels rise and the line gets darker - to a point. The darkness of the line also depends on the concentration of your urine (water consumption affects it). A dropping blood level would worry me though. Your best indicator of a healthy pregnancy at this point will be the fetal heart beat. We usually see that about 2 weeks after the missed period. Good luck!
