i stopped the pill 4 mth ago nearly,&have had iregular periods since my last one was cycle day 35 and this mth came very late at 41days im worried.

Not ovulating?: Birth control pills make your periods very regular.  Now that you have stopped, your body is supposed to kick in and give you regular periods.  It does this by ovulating every month.  For a variety of reasons, some women don't ovulate and this makes them have very irregular periods.   If you want to get pregnant, you should see your Gyn about this.  If you don't, consider going back on the pill.

Periods: I wonder whether you ovulate or not. Sometimes women who fail to ovulate have no periods. If you have no ovulation and this is the reason for your absent period, then you will need a work up to determine why. You may have pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome) or another reason. Discuss it with your doc.

Yes!: Having irregular periods usually means you just have no idea when you may or may not ovulate.  You can still get pregnant and should seek guidance from an ob/gyn for testing and therapies, if indicated.  Hpv has no effect on pregnancy rates, as far as we know.

It may not be false: If you had sex, you could be pregnant and the result would not be false positive. If you did not have sex, why did you do a pregnancy test? If you have any doubt, get a blood test for HCG level.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

Few things: It is not uncommon for periods to occasionally space out the older one gets.  If this is the first time it happened wait and see what happens with your next few cycle.  Get check to find the answer.

Irreg periods: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections ;  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Birth control: Yes you can start taking pills anytime.  Also you can use other birth control e.g. Intrauterine device.  Talk to your doctor about all your options.

hi, im on day 25 of my cycle and im supposed to start taking duphaston due to irregular menstruation. am i good to take it now? as i dont know when my next period will come due to it being super irregular. i also got diagnosed with pcos, just fyi?

: PCOS is best treated with oral birth control pills, which stop ovarian hormone production and prevent long term higher estrogen effects on the lining of the uterus, caused by cycles without ovulation.  If pregnancy is desired, receive guidance from your GYN physician or a reproductive endocrinologist.

it's my first time having sex. he only inserted the tip and cummed outside. he didn't use condom. i have an irregular menstruation. we did it 3 days after my period. i just started my contraceptive pills and was on the 3rd day. will i get pregnant?

: The only way to know if you are pregnant is to do a home pregnancy test. If your miss your next period, do a home pregnancy test. If your period happens, you are not pregnant. Good luck to you!
