No: Liver cysts do not usually require treatment.  The dilatation might be secondary to your cholecystectomy.

Relatively normal: If the radiology report states normal morphology it is fairly certain there are no big worries. We do not know why the scan was ordered but mild intrahepatic biliary duct dilatation may be completely normal for this patient. The normal common bile duct finding means the liver, pancreas and gallbladder empty in to a normal duct that drains into the intestine. All good findings. Good luck.

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Inflammation: Ductal dilation can be obstructive or non obstructive. Causes of obstruction such as stones, stricture, tumor etc to be ruled out. Usually when not obstructed mild dilation can be related to inflammation or cholangitis. These inflammatory processes usually treated medically.

That is normal: Intrahepatic bile ducts are small ducts within the liver that collect bile from the liver cells and transport it into increasingly larger bile ductules that coalesce into a single bile duct, the common bile duct.  Normally by ultrasound or body scans, only the larger bile ducts can be seen.  If the intrahepatic bile ducts are dilated, it means there is a blockage downstream, which is abnormal.
