Pelvic exam: It is not entirely clear here what sort of lump you have discovered. The best thing to do is to schedule a visit with an Obgyn and show them what you are finding. They will be able to guide you on if it is normal or not.

i have a lump at the top of the inside of my vagina wall. i was thinking it could be an ingrown here but it has no head. what could it be?

It depends on.....: Depends on the size of the lump and how it feels to the tip of your finger.
If the lump is small(under one cm) and is not particularly hard to  feel, it can be watched over the next month or two. Keep track of its size by once weekly checks. if it grows in size ,then you must see your doctor for further evaluation. if it remains unchanged in size you can watch/monitor it for 3-6 months and decide.

Probably normal: Tissue trauma from surgery initiates the body's natural healing mechanisms including the development of platelet rich plasma (PRP). The gel matrix that forms looks like swollen tissue. If you have ever had a scab that you looked under, the yellow "goo" in a wound is platelet rich plasma which is healing the trauma of a tissue wound. A discharge that looks like pus would be abnormal.

Lump: Be very careful with this. You need a doctor to examine the area soon to make sure this is not an abscess or even something else. A peri-rectal abscess is dangerous and requires drainage. Go to an urgent care center now please.

Bartholin's glands are located at the entrance to a woman's vagina, one on each side.A Bartholin's cyst is formed when a Bartholin's gland is blocked, causing a fluid-filled cyst to develop.
