Antibiotics: I would get to the doctor as soon as you can for antibiotic treatment.  The injection can progress and travel leading to more severe complications.  A cold compress might help now until you can get to the doctor for evaluation and treatment.

Unlikely from that.: You may have "Koebner's" psoriasis like phenomena.  Since has gone so long, I would dab it with cortisone. If no resolution, see  a doc!

Probably not: Unless it starts draining pus or the redness expands beyond the bite site.  Put ice on it, don't scratch anymore and monitor.  Dr. C

Could be: It is common for some people's bodies to over react to some insect bites. It will usually grow bigger for 2-3 days. As long as it is itching more than tender it isn't likely to be infected. Also if it is just on the one area that was bit it doesn't sound like an allergy, just an exaggerated localized reaction.  Ice massage and antihistamines might help.

Bee sting: Could be a simple mosquito bite, bee sting, or lyme disease from a tick. I recommend getting it checked out by a doctor, especially if the red splotch grows in size or starts to look like a ring. If you have fevers, achiness, or other symptoms in the next week, also go see a doctor.
