Yes: Drowsiness is reported with this medication. The most common side effects are transient headache and dizziness. Constipation and diarrhea are also reported. Some patients experience anxiety. All of these side effects are reported with almost any medication.

WELL TOLERATED: ZOFRAN (ondansetron) is very well tolerated for nausea. Most common side effect is sedation try to rest. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery.

No: Zofran (ondansetron) is typically used safely during pregnancy.  You shouldn't worry.  Docs are very cautious about medication used during pregnancy so you needn't worry.

More water, Miralax (polyethylene glycol): I assume you are taking zofran for nausea and therefore probably not taking much water.  This leads to harder stools.  Increasing your water intake and taking generic MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) will help keep your stools soft.

Zofran (ondansetron): there is a slight risk of cleft palate or lip associated with zofran (ondansetron).  In general, I have stopped using it unless the pateint is over 14 weeks gestation.  However, if nausea and vomitting of pregnancy is severe you can have real problems associated with it, so it still will be used for severe nausea and vomitting.  Talk to your OB before making a decision.  Your pharmacist isn't an OB expert.
