Bowel disease can also present as thickening in imaging studies. They are all diagnosed by proctoscopy with biopsies or cultures.

Also neurogenic bladder, detrussor-sphincter dyssynergia (sphincter conractswith voiding) but should relax & bladder reflux all cause thickening.
