Foreign body: With the story you tell it is very conceivable that she has a foreign body in her nose. The swollen red lump can represent a response to a foreign body or it may be a nasal polyp she should have an ENT physician take a peek up her nose to verify the problem.

It is possible: That infection from a tooth can affect certain sensory nerves that serve the facial areas where the nerve distribution is found. Altered sensation or tingling needs to be figured out.  Seek examination for this infected tooth issue issue with your dentist as soon as possible. Not infected: If the swelling gone down is not infected.
This pain that you have is considered "normal" and physiologic and is associated with an inflammatory response that is part of the healing process. In normal pain, the pain usually disappears when healing is complete. Wait about 2 weeks or so.

: Be patient. From the limited information in the post it sounds like a simple issue of delayed pigment return.  Pigmentation is one of the last things to come back to newly healed skin. It can take weeks depending on your natural tone.
