Lactation: Naturally, breast milk production increases by increased intake of liquid diet  ( eg apple juice, chicken soup etc.). Prescription medication used for enhancing breast milk production is -- reglan (metoclopramide).

With a baby sucking!: To nurse successfully, you generally need two things: plenty of sucking, and plenty of nutrition in the form of food and especially fluids. Milk does not usually come in for about 4-5 days after birth. If you are having trouble, you may appreciate the support of a lactation consultant. Ask your doctor for a referral.

: There is no way for creation of lactation short of pregnancy, but surrogate breast feeding may be available through social agencies, so inquire with a local hospital or OB provider if this might address your wish to breastfeed your adopted infant.

Strait catheter: Unfortunately, this complication is all too common in men, it does resolve but may take several hours.  As one recovers from a spinal/epidural, the sacral nerve roots are among the last to recover.  Autonomic innervation governs urine extrusion-the urinary sphincter dilating and bladder contracting.  This reflex is transiently impaired in some.  Catheterization may be performed if bladder overfill.

Menopause: You did not say whether taking Provera (medroxyprogesterone) brought on your period.  If it did, it means you still have reasonable estrogen production.  However, the FSH level of 30 is consistent with starting menopause.  However, you must make sure you are not pregnant if Provera (medroxyprogesterone) did not bring on your period.

No,would not use it: during  nursing. It has recently been shown to cause liver damage in people taking it.
