Therapy: What you describe sounds like tight tendons. It's unlikely that its a serious problem, but you need targeted therapy to get full function back. You should have your surgeon evaluate you so that he can give the right instructions to the therapist you see.

Likely mild: You could have temporarily compressed a small digital nerve on the finger, or this could be a presentation of a carpal tunnel syndrome.  This might well reverse over the next few days, but if more fingers get involved, or symptoms worsen, would be useful to have your doctor examine this.
