i have been experiencing a random twitch for a few weeks in the inside of my right thigh just above knee. there appears to be a slight indentation. what could this be?

Muscle spasms: Sounds like isolated, local muscle spasm. This is harmless and can happen randomly and resolves.

there is light spotted bruising that has developed into indentations on the back of my thighs under my bum on both legs. 
they developed 2 days ago and im unsure what could have caused this?

Bruises: These spots may have been due to a combination of pressure from sitting and easy bruiseability from taking anti-inflammatory.medications like aspirin,ibuprofen or naproxen, or be due to platelet or vitamin K or C deficiency especially if you note bleeding from gums or nose. If these bruises continue to occur, consult a hematologist.

Should Be Evaluated: This should be evaluated initially by your Primary Care Provider to obtain an appropriate medical history and baseline labratory tests.  There are many, many conditions which could account for your symptomatology and it is not necessarily representative of a serious medical condition such as ALS.  Make sure your diet is appropriate. Your PCP can refer you to an appropriate specialist if necessary.

MeralgiaParesthetica: This is a likely meralgia paresthetica, or compression of the superficial lateral cutaneous nerve.  It results from tight belts or overweight around the hips.  Go see your primary care doc and he will do the "dollar bill" test, which will confirm the diagnosis.  You may need a referral to a neurologist. The condition is benign.  Weight loss is the key.

is it normal to have a dent on the front of one thigh that looks deeper when you flex it? i have a few on one thigh but not the other. is it normal?

Can be normal: There can definitely be asymmetric differences between the 2 thighs in the contour, from previous healed wounds or minor trauma or just the way one was born.  If the areas are not painful or red &amp; do not significantly change over time you probably do not need to worry about them, but redness/pain/changes would necessitate a Dr exam

People tend to: Experience stress in different parts of the body. Some people get head aches, others pains in the neck, back or stomach. It is an unusual place to experience stress, so i would run it by a physician. Sometimes there is a psychological meaning, to the choice of a body part, but I have not had anyone talk about it.

Maybe nerve pressed: A person who gets numbness, tingling, or odd sensations in a part of his body only when in certain positions, is likely pressing on the nerve to that part of the body. Pressing on the blood vessels to that part of the body is also possible, but less likely. The person can see his primary care doctor and show him exactly what happens. The doctor may refer to a neurologist for further evaluation.
