Need more info?: What is your migraine/headache history? How old are you? What are you taking (meds?) Supplements? Past medical/ social/ sexual/ family histories? Do you work with an ENT doctor or your PCP? What have they offered? This in not normal to have burning in your nose all the time. Please provide so we can help you.

Maybe: Triptorelin (diphereline) is mainly meant for treating prostate cancer in men, used as well by some to treat endometriosis, has several side effects , some you described as fatigue, which can be attributed to the asthma you already have, helps to keep a diary of symptoms and discuss with your doctor on the next visit or before the next dose

Hard to say: Hard to say, if this has always been the case, then you are just fortunate and maybe should consider being a chef! if it is new, it's possible that you used to have some nasal issues that limited your sense of smell that have now improved (like allergies). If you are smelling something funny that is not actually there, then you should see an ent.

Olfactory stim: Hormonal changes have been known to affect the sense of smell. Also, correction of sinusitis , congestion, or other conditions in the nasopharynx may seem to be enhancing the sense of smell. Certain drugs may do this, too, though usually alter the sense, rather than increase it.

Anosmia: Losing the sense of smell has many causes in its differential. After you have seen your gp, you may need to see an ENT to rule out benign causes such as sinus involvement or nasal polyps. Rarely can tumors be a reason. Do not forget that as we age our senses wane as well where we sometimes lose the ability to smell and taste.

Being studied now!: Seems a quite active area for research now. Much would depend on reasons for the loss of smell sense. Also, without a trauma or disease cause, there are studies looking into that as a very early indicator of future alzheimer's or parkinson's. Efforts are all over the MAP - it's an interesting question. Some love this sense - others care less. I'd miss it a lot, so if this is you, i feel your loss.
