"Slightly": increased echogenicity is a hedge.  It means that the kidney tissue may be marginally brighter looking than normal on US.  It could be normal.  Truly increased echogenicity implies renal disease but is very nonspecific, there are a number of entities that could manifest that way.  The finding must be interpreted in the context of your clinical picture to determine the significance, if any.

: All laboratory/imaging results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, normal blood test results do not rule out some renal lesions. You may wish to consult a nephrologist.    Wish you good health!

Correlate blood test: Increased cortical echogenicity with mild corticomedullary differentiation,  usually means medical renal disease. Kft probably means kidney function tests. These are blood tests such as serum creatinine, bun, and GFR (glomerular filtration rate).

Pancreas Lesion : A hyper echo genic lesion can represent a cyst or a tumor, as well as a localized area of scarring or inflammation.  At your age, the lesion is more than likely to be benign. Was this an incidental finding, or did you have an ultrasound because you are symptomatic? I assume your doctor is planning to follow up with you on the finding, but if not, give him a call and discuss his thoughts.

Several things: Calcifications in the renal pyramids can cause increased echogenicity.  This can be caused by abnormal calcium metabolism related to renal osteodystrophy or may be related to other diseases such as sickle cell disease or other conditions.  If this is a new finding and there is no known cause, your physician may need to do a workup to find the etiology.

Likely inflammation: Increased echogenicity  of a tissue, usually indicates inflammation.  It does not indicate why its there but its likely there.  Given that the echogenicity is bilateral, tumors are not likely.  The most common cause of such inflammation is a urinary tract infection.  Consult your PCP for consideration of a Urology referral if you have other symptoms that are problematic.

Non-Specific: These are not normal findings but they are non-specific. That is they do not give a "Diagnosis"  Do you have  an alcohol problem?? Have you ever had Hepatitis??? Are you on any Medications??  More info with a question may help.  Hope this helps.
