Yes: Progesterone can cause an increase in vaginal discharge.  This is usually milky in color and consistancy, and does not cause any itching or irritation.  If she is experiencing any itching, irritation, or foul odor, or spotting/bleeding, she should be evaluated by her physician.

No not really: No the amount of circulating estrogen and Progesterone will not effect the mount of discharge. Leutinizing hormone signals the lining of the uterus to build up and prepare for implantation of an embryo. If this doesn't occur menstruation happens.

Hard to tell...: It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly. One can test about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. An Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate any persistent or worrisome symptoms.

Crinone (progesterone gel): this is very common, the white stuff is almost certainly the Crinone (progesterone gel) gel, which clumps up. Good wishes.

Not really: It's common to have some brown spotting early in pregnancy. It is not caused by the Progesterone though. An ultrasound in a week or so should be able to see if you have a viable embryo. In the meantime, you should continue the Progesterone as directed by your doctor. And call the doctor if you have any bright red bleeding!

Probably not: Have you had an ultrasound yet to confirm a viable pregnancy?  Some light spotting early in pregnancy can be very normal.  If the bleeding gets worse call your doctor for an ultrasound.
