Not a problem: The areas where we typically see mesh include repair of hernias, slings for incontinence, and for repair of vaginal prolapse.  The answer depends on where the mesh is located.  If you had repair of the pelvic floor, then you should not have a vaginal birth.  If you had an incontinence procedure, then you can have a vaginal birth, but it might hurt the repair.  All others are likely okay.  Ask doc!

Home Pregnancy Test: Whenever you have concerns about a possible pregnancy, it is best to take a pregnancy test.  If negative and you have symptoms that concern you, see your doctor. If positive - see your doctor!

The implant: works the same, broken or not,  it is not liquid filled, but a solid structure, that the hormone is part of as it enters the body blocking ovulation.  Works the same regardless.

i got my nexlapon implant in august of 2022. i could usually only feel the first centimeter of my implant. up until about a month ago i can feel the whole thing and now both of the ends are exposed. i have few pregnancy symptoms. what do i do?

: Chance of pregnancy partly depends on how your menstrual cycle has been since last year. If you have not had menses, chance of conception is very low. If you have regular menses, then do a urine pregnancy test with an early morning urine sample for ruling out pregnancy. The last step is seeing your doctor for assessing the implant. Good luck.

Tests are accurate: Urine and blood pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. A urine test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon.

Still can interfere: with pregnancy, and if not removed, it is still there and partially active enough to block ovulation.

It will have: no effects on the implants, but the breasts themselves will likely become larger and more glandular due to hormonal changes.

No: Dental implants are inert titanium fixtures that do no affect pregnancy, no more than an artificial knee or hip. Infections of the mouth, whether on implants or natural teeth, should be promptly treated, however.

had a jadelle implant 4 months ago. i just had sex and my bf ejaculated inside me. what is that chance of pregnancy?

Very Low chance: Jadelle is very good contraception.  In the trial to determine effectiveness, 8 women out of 1393 women became pregnant over 5 years of use.    That is .57% over 5 years (or .11% a year).  You don't need to use the "Pull out method" for it to work.   Your chance of pregnancy after 1 episode of intercourse is not zero but very close to it.
