What is timing?: Implantation is when the conceptus (from union of egg &amp; sperm) attach to the wall of the uterus.
Bleeding most often  dose not occur with implantation. If there is bleeding the amount is small. It may be small rust or brown colored drops or light pink swirled in white d/C. It usually occurs about ten days after ovulation.  There is more blood w period. Take a HPT if you miss your period.

Implantation bleed: Implantation bleeding happens 6-7 days after ovulation. Ovulation for mos women happens between days 12-16 from the first day of the period, on average 14 days. Therefore implantation bleeding can occur sometime between day 18 at the earliest and 22 at the latest (days 19-20 for most women). Of course there are exceptions but this applies to most regularly menstruating women.

Implantation Bleedin: First, implantation bleeding is not as common as everyone seems to think it is.  Secondly if it does occur it would happen 6-12 days after conception.  So, you would be in that window.  The only way to know is to do a pregnancy test. If your periods are now regular from the Metformin wait until you miss then check a test.  Good Luck!

I'd ignore it: 'implantation bleeding' is subtle and unpredictable, if it can be interpreted at all.  Internet gossip over-emphasizes the idea of 'implantation bleeding.' Implantation begins 6-7 days after fertilization, so that's the only time you would see it. Non-medical people sometimes refer to any early pregnancy bleeding as implantation bleeding, but this is not a defined medical term.
