Red wine and bowels: No under ordinary circumstances of moderate intake of wine.  Large amounts of wine will often irritate the intestinal system and affect bowel function.

Diverticulosis: I am assuming that you have had episodes of recurrent infected diverticulitis resultng in a sigmoid colon stricture. Bowel prep @ home to clean the colon before surgery. Can be done small incisions with laparoscopic, or regular open incision surgery. Risks are bleeding, infection, intestine leak. May have limited affect on bowel function, will not stop chronic constipation if that affects you.

Puffs of what?: If you mean marijuana, it is unlikely that taking 2 puffs will cause a positive drug screen 10 days later.  Chronic and/or heavy marijuana use can cause positive drug screens for as long as 30 days after use.

Not safe: Colon cleansing can cause  electrolyte imbalances in your blood, and in my opinion are not safe. A natural way to regulate your bowel function would be to  eat a diet rich in fiber and drink sufficient water.

Colon Cleanse: These are a waste of money.  Feces does not get stored in the colon.  It is a one way tube that handles waste.  You state you have good bowel function.  Then everything is already getting cleaned out.  These can also be dangerous due to the risk of bowel perforation.

POTS: Gut mobility problems are not part of the syndrome. Could such a thing exist? That's another question and i wouldn't a priori rule out some relationship.

: You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.
