hi, im a teenager and for a while i've been having incomplete bowel movements and a swollen anus. but no bleeding, could this be hemorrhoids or not?

Yes, possibly: Sounds like simple constipation (eating your fruits and vegetables?) with straining causing engorgement of your external hemorrhoids, thus no bleeding (yet!). Try more fiber, more water, some exercise and stool softeners also might be helpful. If this problem persists beyond these simple measures, discuss it with your health provider.

Intertrigo : The rash could be intertrigo or a cellulitis. If it is hot to touch, see a physician as soon as possible to make sure it is not a cellulitis which would need oral antibiotics quickly to treat. Intertrigo is a rash that occurs in folds of skin and can be treated with topical creams usually.

i think i may have prolapsed rectum.  or intestine protrudes from anus when i go to bathroom. i have to tighten rear to get it back in.  scared.

Could be: It could be a recital prolapse. Sometimes bad hemorrhoids may look like something protruding from the anus. Go see a doctor and find out for sure what's going on.

: One of the best remedies for his sore bottom is cleaning with baby oil on a cotton ball. That generally doesn’t sting and helps to sooth the area. Then apply a barrier diaper ointment, such as desitin or Balmex (white unscented diaper cream) so that the stool isn’t touching his skin as much.

how do i know the difference between external hemorrhoids and anal herpes? i do not do anything sexual around my buttocks and i do rough bowel movements that result in bloody stool and a little burn when i shower?

: It's difficult to differentiate with just those symptoms because you can have both. You can look at your anus and perianal area with a mirror and tell us what you see so we may be able to say what it is or you can google for the images of external hemorrhoid and herpes lesion and you can see the difference.
Perianal herpes may occur without history of anal sex.

Rectal Bleeding: The most common cause of this is hemorrhoid, which are dilated small veins that occur after recurrent pressure from hard bowel movements or childbirth, for example. Anal fissures - little cuts in the anus - can also happen from the same process. If it increases in frequency/ duration/severity then you may need to check it out. Likely not a big deal, though.

Anal fissure possibl: These symptoms may have resulted after straining causing a small cut in the anus called a fissure.  Warm baths, stool softener and creams such as prep h all used together for 1  week will usually help significantly.  If not go see a GI doctor

You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. Constipation: You appear to have a type of "constipation" in where your stools are large enough to cause pain and bleeding. Increase your fluids, regulate your diet with foods that improve the consistency of your stools and regulate you, like fruits and fiber, and if needed a stool softener may even be needed. So see a Dr. for an evaluation and treatment plan that can be developed for you!  Best wishes.
