Varies widely: For some fibroids grow very slowly over many years. For others they grow very quickly. There is no way to know how fast or slow your grew unless you had another sonogram at some other point in your life where you could compare the growth over time.

The drugs used are like those that prevent organ transplant rejection and include prednisone, cellcept, (mycophenolate mofetil) prograf, Cyclosporine and imuran.  The biggest risk with them is infection, but there are many others.
