i just recovered from c -diff last year now my immune system so weird and weakness anything to help recommend what to do & eat make me healthy again ?

The usual advice: There is no secret to a healthy life: regular sleep, healthy meals with mostly plants, regular exercise. Avoid tobacco, alcohol, and caffeine. Manage your stress. Have an active and healthy social life. When you are happy, your body is healthier.

i had a cat scan, showed chronic microvascular ischemic white matter disease. my doctor who ordered the ct looked at it and  did not comment. is ms or other auto immune system possible?

Not likely: Hi! that terminology on the ct scan is usually seen in patients over 65 and is often related to a history of hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, vascular disease, and other conditions that affect blood vessels.  It is not usually ms, which causes patches of spots in the white matter around the ventricles of the brain.

i've had swollen auxiliary lymphnodes for a month. they are feel like hard lumps. and i seem to keep getting sick like my immune system is being suppresed. my doctor order and x ray and ct scan, should i be worried? any idea what it may be?

Yes: But at your age, one would consider mono or CMV as potential causes as well.  You need blood tests to rule out a hematologic disorder as well.   Consult a hematologist if your doctor can't provide you with an answer since the problem has gone on long enough.

Why steroids given: It is not  clear  why you were  given steroids  or what are you being treated for. You say you have fibromylgia and this doe s not respond to steroidsHave your physician have you  see a rheumatologist

No sure way.: Staying in good physical shape with regular exercises (not extreme exercises) and a healthy diet may be helpful.  Make sure your plasma vitamin d3 level is optimal since vitamin d3 has been shown to be an important immune regulator.  I would like to see the 25 oh vitamin d3 level to be around 50 to 60 ng even  though the recommended level is around 30 ng.  More fruits & veggies.

does ringworm have anything to do with your immune system? ive heard its from a low immune system but im rarely sick.

Myth: Ringworm is a lay term for fungus that can implant on your skin surface from casual contact with dirt/animals or other humans. It lives off the older surface layer of your skin &amp; has does not trigger or interact with your immune system at all.

do otc expectorants like mucinex offer any long term benefit for clearing symptoms permanently? or do they just mask symptoms, and its better to let your immune system do the work?

: Mucinex and immune system address different issues. Mucinex provides symptomatic relief by facilitating clearance of excessive respiratory secretions and mucus.

You can...: You can take it,but there is no scientific evidence that any supplement will "boost" your immune system. Save your money.

To improve your: Immune system, please eat healthy, exercise and take vitamins. A healthy life style with balance food and some Vit C will boost your immune system.
