Mass: start with Ultrasound  and an Xray ( to make sure it is not arising from bone) . then depends on the report and the neck step would be a biopsy. it depends if you doctor decides to do a open biopsy or a USS guided biopsy.

Lymph node?: Could be related. Very rare to have so many masses all over. But if it's immovable then we need to examine you in person.

Benign tumor: Tumor of lower leg that has not grown or showed signs of malignancy such as metastasis are usually benign.  They become of concern when reaching 5-10 cm. in size  when nodal lesions noted but rare when pain noted especially on walking.  Must rule out some form of claudication unless pain directly related to pressure on lesion.

No: tumors of the leg are by definition arising from muscle or connective tissue.  One can have a large fibroma, or lipoma.  By definition, if there is a sarcoma and you leave it alone, it will grow on you.  Malignant sarcomas become aggressive over a short period of time and tend to metastasize to lung.  If a benign lesion changes growth  pattern then biopsy is always indicated due to transformation.

i have a hard mass along the inside of my leg. i've been on omnicef (cefdinir)  for a possible abscess, didn't work. i'm lost. ?

NEEDS  I&D of abcess: A 'painful mass' is a sign of an abcess and the best treatment is 'incision & drainage' (I&D) of the infected material. Please get seen for this procedure. Antibiotics usually can not cure a large abcess, sorry.  Hope you are better soon!

Need to see DERM: Lesions that bleed and grow back not looking like healthy pink skin are a concern. Schedule an appointment with a Dermatologist skin doctor for bx and rx.
