Green stool w/grass: The color of stool varies with foods, speed of emptying of the GI tract, medications & supplements ingested, gut flora (unique for each individual), additives (like blood), subtractions (like absent bile), infection, inflammation, & other factors. Consider what you ate in the last few days, but if the green color is unusual for you & persists or is accompanied by other symptoms, see your doctor.

Stool color: This is generally caused by something you ate that contained a non-digestible pigment, or by the particular types of bacteria in your colon. It is of no concern. On rare occasions this may be bile, but again not a problem.

i had severe constipation yesterday which passed after taking some magnesium. now my stool is green and mucousy is that normal?

Normal result: The green mucusy stuff is probably bile washed out of the small intestine by the laxative effect of the magnesium--you make about 2 liters of it daily, but it is normally re absorbed in the small intestine unless you overstimulate it ( laxatives) thus it enters the colon and may show up like this.

Possibly.: Green stool can be related to the foods we eat. If green and runny it may be due to transitting the GI tract too quickly.  If black and tarry with a foul odor - that would be a cause to worry as that could be related to GI bleeding. Black stools can also be due to certain medications (notably pepto bismal). Regardless,  changes to stool habitus warrant assessment.

Hepatitis A: If your last liver enzymes were normal then the wine shouldn't have hurt your liver. If the liver is severely inflamed the stool usually is pale and the urine is brown. Have your liver enzymes tested to see where you stand.

Probably not: An individual might produce dark green stool due to numerous reasons. It would be harmless but it might be symptoms of digestive disorders also. In most of the cases the stool becomes green colored when a person consumes large amount of leafy vegetables. Moreover, it would also indicate that your diet contains huge amount of sugar. Also, with the acai berry your elimination pattern is quicker.
