ive had a swollen lymph node on right side of my neck for months and it hasnt gone down. i got it checked by my doctor a month ago w a chest x ray & blood work and he said it was not lymphoma and it will probably go down but it hasnt. why is that?

ENT: You may like to see an ENT specialist, and they can biopsy the lymph node. If the node or mass is not growing, mobile and stable, it is not as likely to be a malignancy, but you should follow up with your PCP and ENT for additional evaluation. Watch for night sweats, fever, weight loss and malaise.

Node biopsy possibly: A persistent swollen isolated node for seven months may be related to a number of causes. I would suggest a visit with your PCP. Sometimes infections and drainage to the affected lymph node is the underlying cause rather than malignancy. If the node needs to be biopsied then a surgical referral can be made.  Small moveable nodes tend to be benign.
Tissue diagnosis is usually quite definitive.

Questions: Lots of questions to help figure this out. Where are the nodes, where was the melanoma, how deep was it and how was it treated? How long ago was the melanoma found? If the nodes are in the drainage basin of the primary melanoma, that is more cause for worry than if they are elsewhere.

Enlarged LNs: How long you have been noticing the enlarged lns?
Do you have enlarged spleen or liver?
Most common cause for enlarged lns is reaction to inflammation that drains to the lns (in oral cavity in case of the enlarged neck lns).
I would recommend to watch the lns since you experience no symptoms and initial workup is normal.

9months ago i found lot of swollen lymph nodes is aw doc and got the one on my chest ultrasound i then got a chest x ray and a cbc blood test they said it was clear there's lymph nodes in chest neck groin there soft and roll no weight loss i'm skinny?

You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Yes: There are no lymph nodes in the clavicle but there are near the clavicle. A ct scan should help.
