When ovulating: Knowing your Gyn and other history would be important. If you are sexually active and usually have regular periods, I would first want to determine if you are pregnant. If not pregnant, other conditions (e.g. thyroid) may affect cycle regularity and should be investigated. Otherwise, ovulation predictor kits can be useful if you regularly ovulate/menstruate, but ovulation is delayed this month.

If you ovulated 1/20: Then you should expect menses 12-14 days later. I am assuming you used an ovulation prediction kit? Eitherway...It is still possible the your menses could occur. If you have regular menses consider checking a pregnancy test. If negative and no period still try checking again later in the week.

All will be revealed: Patience. All will be revealed in due time. To raise a happy, healthy child requires great patience in both parents. A urine pregnancy test done correctly gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon.

Possible: If your periods are irregular and you ovulated later than expected, implantation could occur 17 days after you thought your period was due. If in doubt, do a pregnancy test and repeat it in 3-5 days if it is negative. Hope this helps.

TWO POINTS TO MAKE: First, bcps do not make you ovulate, but give a fake "period", so cycles are regulated. Clomid (clomiphene) may or may not have made you ovulate. Did you take a preg. Test? Any sonograms? More info and medical guidance is needed to manage your situation.

YES: Most home pregnancy tests can accurately detect pregnancy one week after a missed period. Also, testing your urine first thing in the morning may boost the accuracy.

Need more info: Yes. Cysts depending on how big and where they are located should not cause a missed period. If you are sexual active &amp; not using contraception do another pregnancy test.Even if still neg I would advise you to make an appt with your OB/GYN .

Yes at: This time the urine pregnancy test is extremely liable so if it says not pregnant you are not pregnant.
