Alcohol: Its always a great idea not to drink alcohol. How to stop consumption depends on how much and how frequent the drinking is. If its excessive then there is the risk of withdrawal symptoms which are treatable. Talk to your doctor and discuss the best option for you.

Bleeding: Apply direct pressure with a clean cloth.  If you can't get the bleeing under control after 20 minutes you may need medical care. Do you know what your tetanus status is?

It's possible: Sometimes a bleeding disorder (a disorder that prevents normal clotting) can be diagnosed with everyday injuries.  Patients that bleed more than normal, bruise easily, or require transfusions with normal surgeries or injuries may have a disorder.  Discuss your situation  with your primary care physician as this can be diagnosed with the right labs and a good history and physical.

Self-cutting: I'm not sure what your relationship with your husband is like -- i hope it's supportive.  If so, please just tell him you've been in pain and have been using this method which you know is not healthy for you -- and you want to get help. It's not something you can just stop on your own.  You need a therapist to work with. If you & he aren't getting along, include someone else you trust in the talk.

Seek treatment: Do i understand correctly that you obsess about cutting yourself?  If so, i'd recommend seeing a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist for evaluation and treatment. Self-mutilation is a symptom of certain psychological disorders and treatment can be helpful.
