May be fish allergy: You may have an allergy to finned fish.  Finned fish have different proteins then crustaceans and mollusks.  In addition, you may have noticed that you tolerate some finned fish but not others.  Symptoms of  fish allergy may include nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, hives or other swelling, and difficulty breathing within a short period, usually less than an hour, after eating the food.

can i eat raw oysters and sushi while breast-feeding, as long as it is not a high mercury fish, without any risk to my baby?

: Raw seafood can contain bacteria which can be harmful to a breastfeeding mom and her baby. Chief among these is Listeria which can actually be transmitted through breastmilk to the baby. This is typically not a problem in high quality restaurants which take many precautions with their fish. Since there are many restaurants in the gray area, it may be better to avoid raw seafood while breastfeeding

Should be fine: If you never became ill, then it is unlikely that you were ever infected with listeriosis.

Adams apple pain: You may not be having an allergic reaction.  It is possible that you may have a fish bone in your throat/larynx.  I would suggest you see an ENT (otolaryngologist) and who can look with a light down into your throat and make sure it does not have a fishbone or ulcer in this area.

Fishy allergies: Fish and shellfish share few allergens.  Usually we divide seafood allergies into three categories: crustaceans such as crab, shrimp and lobster, mollusca including clams, oysters and mussels, and finned fish such as salmon and tuna. Within each group people often react to many or all of the individuals. While you can be allergic to all three groups, there is little cross-reactivity between them.

Important : Important to find out the type of fish first, making sure to differentiate a bony fish from a crustacean .Once that is figured out a blood or skin test is available to help determine what you are allergic to.This can be performed in an allergists office.

Not needed: Multivitamins have not been shown to improve health or longevity when studied scientifically.  It would be better for you to follow a healthy and nutritious diet with a lot of veggies and fruits.
