Ears full: The most common cause of insidious onset of ear fullness with decreased hearing is congestion in your eustachian tube, usually due either to chronic allergies or to a recent cold. There are no really good treatments for this, and generally you just have to wait it out. This condition is usually associated with a feel of pressure, but only in severe cases is their actual ear pain.

See doctor: This sounds serious.  You should see an otolaryngologist (ear, nose, throat specialist) right away. If you cannot get into see a specialist right away, see a general doctor or go to the E.R. Right away.

i was born w/scar tissue in my ears causing hearing loss.would cochlear implants help at all with hearing?

Probably not: Cochlear implants are replacements of the nerve endings where you have CONDUCTION problems. STAPES IMMOBILIZATION may help you!

right ear pain when i swallow. i had issues with fluid in my ears when i was a baby. could not hear for first 3 years of my life. had lots of tubes put into both ears. i was diagnosed within the last year with 10% hearing loss in right ear.

Ear drainage: It’s possible you could have ruptured your tympanic membrane, have an otitis externa or eustachian tube dysfunction. You should see your general doctor to examine your ear.

i have genetic hearing loss. recently i've noticed if i bend over my ears get really muffled even more. feels like a ton of pressure. i also get severe ear pain when running outdoors (despite temperature or wind) but not indoors. why might this be?

: I don't know what type of hearing loss you have, but in my view, I think these factors are causing temporary changes in the tiny muscles in your ears. An otolaryngologist can answer your question best.

: Work up is needed and should be escalated to the brain level with a complete neurological exam followed by brain imaging. Would recommend starting/ continuing with your main doctor who can examine and coordinate further based on findings.
