i used arm and hammer talcum body powder on my feet for like 6 months. didnt know the risks, but havent used it in almost a year. am i now at a higher risk for ovarian cancer? :(?

: No risk at all. The connection between ovarian cancer and talcum powder is from use in the genital area or directly in the vagina. There is no risk from using it on the feet or elsewhere on the body. And the risk primarily involved older versions of talcum powder that also contained small amounts of asbestos, which hasn't been sold in the US for many years.

It depends...: We need more details of your medical history. What stage of Cancer was it when your cancer was removed ?and give us the dates of surgery and if you have taken any chemotherapy. Once we know what has been done to you and to your cancer, then we can give you a more reliable answer.

Likely, yes!: Most cancers do not sit still. They tend to grow in size and may spread. But benign tumors may not change in size over such a period of time.  You need to tell us your story in detail.

Get checked: Go see a GYN. It may be a type of vaginal infection. It is worth a good exam to get answers and any indicated treatments.

No: The two problems are not related although there are some people with a higher risk for any cancer-related problem if they have had one before.
