Oversedating: It is not a good idea to combine sedating medications. The trazadone was given to help you sleep and taking additional 4 Benadryl (diphenhydramine) which I assume is 100mg will add too much extra sedation on top. If the side effects of trazadone are bothersome I recommend discussing other options with your doctor instead of taking a lot of other medications to mask symptoms.

Why four?: Four benadryl (diphenhydramine) tablets is a lot.  They can make you very sleepy and cause you to have a racing heart, dry mouth, difficulty urinating and other symptoms.  Don't take a fifth.  The real question is why are you taking them?  If you're trying to hurt yourself, please tell a family member and go to the ER to be evaluated and talk to someone!  If it's just to rest, you've had more than enough.

It : It sounds like you may have had an allergic reaction to the crab.  It is also possible to get a bacterial infection from bad crab.  The steps you took by taking Benadryl (diphenhydramine) seem reasonable, and going to an urgent care in such a situation can be beneficial because they may be able to give you steroids to bring down swelling, or epinephrin if there is impending throat closure.  You should see your physician to discuss what happened and consider getting blood work to test for any food allergies- like shell fish.  Additionally, if this happens frequently, you may want to have an Epipen nearby just in case the reaction is so severe that you cannot breathe!  good luck and happy eating!

Depends: If you took them to harm yourself, please seek care.  There is always hope and help is available for the asking.  Physically, it depends on your health status and other medicines.  The benadryl (diphenhydramine) can lead to an faster heart rate, confusion and tiredness.  Some people feel hot.  The Vyvnanse dose may lead to increased heart rate, blood pressure, and a jittery feeling.

Probably: After 4 hours the benadryl level in the body has declined. The bromfed has a similar sedating effect but if this is near bedtime I don't see a problem. Most of these products have little benefit to kids under 12 but are not worrisome if given in proper doses.

Why did you do that?: I can't help wondering why you did that. As an energy drink Monster has caffeine and other stimulants so may keep you up for several hours (though this depends on how sensitive you are to caffeine). Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is an antihistamine that makes people drowsy as a side effect. So this is like driving while pressing the gas pedal and brakes at the same time. You will survive but may feel a bit strange.

Support: If your friend ingested 4 - 25 mg Benadryl (diphenhydramine) pills it should not cause  any significant physical harm. However, if he was doing this as a cry for help or in an attempt to harm himself that is serious. If you are minors, tell his parents. They will need to insure that he gets proper medical/ mental health care.  Let your friend know that you care, explain your concerns & encourage him to accept help.

Not recommended: that is above the usual dose and will likely produce significant sleepiness. Even one might be a problem with driving. Furthermore, it is very unlikely to produce more benefit than the recommended dose (1, at most 2).
