It Depends: It depends on if you took an at home pregnancy test or a test from your doctor. Both tests work by detecting a hormone that is only made when you are pregnant. Home tests use urine & there may not have been enough hormone to detect at the time you took it. Blood tests can be more accurate. See your doctor about the symptoms & to get a test.

Go to clinic: Hi.  Go to a prenatal clinic and get a pregnancy test or an ultrasound to see if you are pregnant.

Depends: Have you had periods in between? If you had sexual intercourse, there is no way to say absolutely 0% chance of pregnancy; that being said, 3 months out with negative pregnancy test and no other symptoms would be exceedingly difficult to say that a pregnancy is in place. See your doctor for a blood test if you are still concerned.

Irregular periods.: Take a blood pregnancy test. If it is still negative then it could be hormonal disorder or infection or abnormal cells on the cervix or trauma to the cervix or vagina.  See your gyn for an evaluation.

Keep waiting: Your hormone levels need to reach a certain point before they are detectable in a urine pregnancy test.  If your last period started 2/19, then you might be too early still.  If your period doesn't come by 29 or 30 days from your last, redo a pregnancy test.

Hormonal imbalance: If you did the test correctly at more than 7 days after a missed period, you are not pregnant. Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

: True "pregnancy" symptoms would occur when the hormones that turn a test positive are circulating in the blood at high enough levels to turn a test positive. A negative test implies no pregnancy or too early to have the hormones. The symptoms may be unrelated. Some normally regular women occasionally skip a cycle or two. You can always retest at any time.

Think again: If your menstrual cycle has been regular for four months in a row, then you're not pregnant, unless of course you've conceived sometime between your last menstrual cycle and today.
