Accepted Answer

Many things.: Could have fluid around the lung, a blood clot, a partial collapse of your lung, pneumonia, or just a strain of your chest.  Should probably see your doc and discuss - consider CXR.

i sneezed one day about a week ago and now i have pain under my left chest muscle. hurts if i turn a certain way or laugh. what is this?

Did this myself: I had a violent sneez last year and had same symptoms as you. Ended up being a pulled muscle but you may want to get yours checked.

: Not feasible to be exact or precise, but would speculate about a lung infection, asthma, or even a blood clot.  Highly recommend medical attention ASAP.

Accepted Answer

Yes: You may have a sensitivity to the bird and this type of reaction is typical with re-exposure after prolonged non-exposure.  Remove the bird to see if you improve.  Recommend seeing an Allergist to better define risk and to determine if anything else in the environment may be contributing to your symptoms. Also chest discomfort may suggest underlying asthma or more severe bird sensitivity.

Cold: May be a virus or flu. Hydrate, rest and OTC meds help but if you feel that badly see your doctor or go to an urgent care

Sinusitis/bronchitis: Sounds like a URI has turned into a spell of bronchitis.  If the cough is productive of colored mucus, increasing cough and a fever, than you should visit your doctor or an utc for  a thorough examination and perhaps a course of antibiotics.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

May have infection: Whether in your lungs or under your lungs near diaphragm.  A chest x-ray would be a worthwhile option for you.  Sometimes, people develop spontaneous pneumothorax with collapse of one lung. If you have difficulty breathing, go to the hospital.

If you are : Healthy possibly due back and chest muscle sprain. If no other symptoms like fever, heart palpitations, wheezing, shortness of breath or history of high blood pressure try otc non steroidal antiinflammatory drugs like alive twice a day with foods.

M.D. visit: Most likely the pain that you are experiencing is related to muscular strain from the procedure. If you are experiencing shortness of breath and/or the pain continues, please see your physician.
