Female or male ?: If female -brown discharge may be older, deoxygenated blood. However if you develop discharge that has an odor, causes redness, swelling, itching or pain - please seek medical evaluation. If male - with brown penile D/C seek medical eval.

Could be: could be pelvic infection STD pregnancy even ectopic pregnancy.these type symptoms should be evaluated probably by physician if they get worse go to the emergency room See an OB/GYN physician or family practice physician does gynecology for specific diagnosis and treatment

It contains a high level of hormones that interfere with the implantation of a fertilized embryo. It should not be used regularly as the levonorgestrel can have side effects including nausea, abdominal pain, fatigue, headache, irregular bleeding, breast pain.

The brown discharge is likely old blood being cleaned from the uterus. This may occur with imbalance of estrogen &amp; progesterone.

Normal: After taking the Plan B pill you can have irregular menstrual cycle.  The pill has a large amount of estrogen to discourage a healthy environment for embryo to grow.  In the next month you should  have a normal period.  The menstrual blood can be brown at the beginning or end of your cycle and this is normal as well.  Take a pregnancy test to make sure you are not pregnant and follow up with a PCP
