Methamphetamine: Not everything is known about drug exposures in the fetus.  Vision problems is not probably related but who can know for sure as we do not know how much drug was used, and often there is poly drug use and alcohol exposure.

Depends: In most cases uncorrected vision does not cause eye redness   Causes of chronic redness include, allergies, eye dryness, certain surface changes including keratitis.  Redness alone, in the face of normal vision, only means that this needs to be addressed but that eyeglass correction is probably not needed.

Diagnosis?:  As you know, there is potential for Zika virus infection in Jamaica. Symptoms of Zika Virus only occur in about 20% of people and include fever, joint pain, conjunctivitis (red eyes) &amp; a red/pink bumpy rash (maculopapular). Headache, pain behind eye, vomiting &amp; muscle pain can occur. Sx' last a few days to a week. You may have many types of viruses. Can't make a diagnosis with the available info.
