See a doctor.: These symptoms could be 'nothing' to worry about and will resolve on their own....Or they might indicate something that needs attention.  Lower abdominal pain has multiple potential causes (including appendicitis) that a physician should evaluate.

GI evaluation: This needs further investigation. May well be diverticular disease, but without more history and the ability to examine you and see all the lab data it is impossible to know what is going on. Follow your doctor's evaluation and advice and I hope this clears up soon.

GI symptoms: I am not sure.  Do you have continued sharp right lower abdominal pain?  If you have severe abdominal pain please seek emergent evaluation to ensure that you don't have a surgical abdomen.  If that is not what you are describing you could have a viral gastroenteritis.  If so, consider a clear liquid diet initially. Sip, avoid dehydration. Rest.

Pain: Sharp pain in the lower left abdomen could mean any of a number of problems.
Best idea would be a visit to the Emergency Room near you as soon as you can.

If they find something they can take care of they will.
If they find something not so good and they can't take care of it they will send you to the hospital.

If you're having blood in your stools, a high fever, unable to hold down any foods, or if the pain in your left lower side is increasing in intensity, then it's time to see your doctor for an exam.

Viral?: Many different things can give you those symptoms.  Diverticulitis, colitis, tumors adhesions/obstruction, ovarian cysts, less likely cancers can all give you sharp lower abdo pains.  Is anyone else sick? If this is recurrent or has lasted more than a couple days i would see a physician asap. He/she will be able to examine, take a good history, obtain images.  If severe, go to er.

Many possibilities: Such a pattern can result from many causes, including but not limited to gastroenteritis, irritable bowel syndrome (ibs), inflammatory bowel diseases like crohns or ulcerative colitis, or even constipation with stool leakage, to name a few more common ones. Evaluation with a good history and examination is needed to pinpoint a more specific cause.

Diarrhea and pain: If your symptoms have been going on this long - it's time to get checked. I would suggest calling your Primary doctor at once or going to an E.R. where they can check you for electrolyte (salt) imbalances and for signs of infection. If you have a fever - that's even more reason to go now. A self-limited gastroenteritis should be clearing up by now - hope you can get help today.
