If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections &amp;  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Penile discharge?: A discharge from the penis means a trip to the doctor is coming up, unless the "discharge" is normal semen or the small amount of normal mucus in the urethra (which should be clear, not actually white). Any other discharge can be checked to see if there is an infection or urethral inflammation.

Ask your sex partner(s) if he or they have discharge or painful urination -- if so, they also need to be seen ASAP.

Spotting: Brownish spots could be a sign of a urinary tract infection or stone.  The spotting sounds like it is coming from your urine and not vagina.  If it persists a urine culture should be gotten and possibly an ultrasound of the kidneys or Xray to rule out stones.  If it persists see your doctor.

Unprotected sex:  The brown spots are likely old blood being cleaned from the uterus.  Implantation bleeding usually doesn't occur but when it does- it is a minute  amount of blood. Please be aware that if you don't wish to become pregnant - you should not rely on the withdrawal method- that just isn't responsible.
