Rectal pain: This might be a rectal sphincter and muscle spasm. The will likely go away in 15-30 minutes. They can be quite painful and bothersome, but usually resolve quickly.

It is possible that you have mild prolapse of pelvic organs. It may be correctable with exercises, if not, it may require surgery. It would be prudent to see your gynecologist for evaluation.

Sounds normal.: This sharp pain may be the tip of the catheter striking the wall of your emptying bladder.  Probably normal. A little urine then leaks after removal as you have stretched the sphincter open.
