Maybe constipation?: Stay well hydrated (at least 8 - 8 ounces glasses of water per day). Try to get in 5 servings of vegetables and 4 servings of fruit per day – get that fiber in. Stay physically active if possible. There are a number of over the counter laxatives that can be taken orally to help pass retained fecal matter. See your medical provider if this does not resolve.

Need evaluation: Most likely constipation. However at an age over age 40, further evaluation should be completed prior to initiating treatment for what might end up being just constipation. You should see a colon and rectal specialist or gastroentrologist. The workup would likely include an office visit, checking the stool for occult blood and colonoscopy. For transient constipation, Milk of Magnesia (magnesium hydroxide) can help.

every few weeks i have pretty bad bloating and a very painful hard stomach thats only relived by burping or excessive yawning. i also get pain in my left breast, and it affects my breathing, and it hurts. what tests can i ask for?

: If you're making yourself burp you'll only be swallowing more air &amp; collecting more gas.  Drinking hot water helps break down gas &amp; enables it to be passed down the intestinal tract &amp; out the rectum which is best. Applying heat to the abdomen  does the same. In addition to avoiding gassy foods&amp; beverages, take simethicone to prevent gas build up. Get tested for lactose intolerance or gluten sensit

Maldigestion...: Post prandial abdominal bloating is frequently the result of eating too much volume of food or consumption of a food trigger.  The most common food culprits include wheat and fermentable carbohydrates (e.g. Lactose in dairy).  Testing for celiac disease is recommended.  Great diet information at ibsfree.Net.  Good luck!

when my stomach is empty sometimes it gets extremely bloated and hurts to the point its hard to stand up straight...also bloating after coffee..reason?

See your doctor: Bloating is often the distention of the bowels due to gas buildup.  This can be due to things we eat - like coffee.  If you can pinpoint triggers then avoid these foods.  As for when your stomach is empty it is unclear - talking to your doctor or a gastroenterologist would be a good idea.

dealing with body tension and bloating and been taking 4-8 baby asprin every weekend so it's not so hard on stomach. do i need to worry about that having a bad effect on stomach like bleeding and can i take pepcid ac with it for the bloating?

: The best treatment for your bloating is to find out what is causing it. Bloating is a very broad term and may mean different things in different parts of the US. You body is talking to you. Listen and take good notes and you and your Drs will figure out cause and treat that.

Could be: Not E-nuff information to guide you. If pain is severe enough to make taking a deep breath hard or impossible, go seek help at the Emergency location closest to you. If pain is not that bad, seek an appointment with your PCP as soon as you can. A few blood tests and a ultrasound exam of the abdomen will get things sorted out quickly.
