Possible..but: You can get pregnant as in your situation..But chance likely lowered by the iud, especially it is a hormone-based iud. Despite its removal, the hormone released from it likely still working for days after its removal..Also, you may not have ovulated either, thus not likely. But not much is 100% in medicine..So u can check for pregnancy in 2-3 wks to be sure..If in doubt, consult doc..

Not likely: If you had unprotected intercourse with the iud in place you be protected.  A pregnancy test done about 10 days after itercourse is the most reliable way to know for sure.

Not likely : Since you had sex while the iud was still in pregnancy seems unlikely. Use over the counter Plan B if intercourse was within 72 hours to decrease the risk of unplanned pregnancy.  Start birth control or get a new IUD to prevent these scares

Yes, PG possible: The iUD works by interfering with the implantation of a fertilized  ovum. When the iUD is removed pregnancy can occur.

Pregnant after IUD?: The risks of pregnancy in this situation is extremely small, almost 0. The iud changes the chemistry inside the uterus to make it hostile to pregnancy; these changes take weeks to reverse after removal. The fact that the iud was still in place for 2 days after the unprotected sex eliminated about 99% of all possible pregnancies, and the residual changes left by the iud will get almost all other.

: That was a hormonal IUD so chance of ovulation after 24-48 hours of removal is still very low but we can't say impossible.

Possible.: Would be very unusual for conception to occur that soon after removal, also - if menses is due on sept 13th, then you should not have been ovulating on/or just prior to september 9th (so the timing wouldn't be usual.).

Maybe: The MIrena (levonorgestrel) IUD contains hormones that suppress ovulation. Therefore, there still may have been a residual affect on both the endometrium and ovulation. Do a pregnancy test to be certain.
