cut thumb & got stitches while back. stitches out. site is pink/bed. now & then clear liquid leaks out if i break it open accidentally. no puss?

Natural Process: When there is injury to our skin, inflammation occurs which means the area becomes red, warm, tender and with swelling.  The swelling occurs under the skin layers and then can leak out of an open wound.  The fluid contains water, protein, electrolytes and cells that give it color.  This is a natural process and aids in healing.  As it heals, the drainage will decrease.  Keep it covered.

my foot is swollen big, i jus got stitch's 3 days ago, its leakin a clear liquid at one spot, slowley but surely, is that bad?

Not necesarily: Clear drainage is not necessarily a bad thing.  Drainage can be normal following the first few days of an injury.  If symptoms persist or if you have any signs of an infection have it evaluated by your physician as soon as possible.

Probably ok: There will be some pain after injury, even a clean cut.  This should diminish in a couple of days.  As long as the site is not red or draining pus, and the pain limited to the cut, it should be okay.  Keep it clean and protected from further injury.  If in doubt, see your md.

why can't i use a liquid bandage over stitches?

Yes you can: A liquid bandage is essentially a self-curing adhesive which uses the same basic principles as so-called super glues. A special form of acrylate glue is mixed with chemical stabilizers and curatives to form a liquid adhesive which bonds well with human skin. As the liquid bandage dries, it forms a protective polymer shell over the injured skin.

can you use liquid bandage products on a 1/2 -1 inch cut on the top of the head?  or are stitches required?

Depends: whether or not you need stitches really depends on the depth of the wound. I would have a trained medical professional examine the wound and determine if stitches are necessary.

my stitches are bleeding. can i cover the area with liquid bandaid or medical tape?

Better: Ask the surgeon. It is not clear how long you had the stitches or where or if it is wound dehiscence or normal seeping from the sutures

Finger cut: A hand cut 1/2 deep is pretty substantial, especially if it was on the fingers. You could have damaged a nerve, vessels, or tendons. Though, you state you can't afford an ER visit, I would suggest you still go. Especially if you have any numbness of the fingers or lack full range of motion of all your digits and joints. A "paper cut" or superficial cut can be glued, but can lead to infection.

LET IT HEAL: Anytime a patient of mine has tried something I did not approve of, it get's screwed up. Let it heal until he/she removes the sutures.

is this normal or should i seek professional help? i have 3 internal (hit a vein) stitches and 16 external stitches to my left arm. i have a sensation of running blood or liquid going up and down my arm depending on the position. is this normal?

Simple : Simple answer, you had stitches put in so you should have follow up, so yes seek help.Jjsut because you had stiches in a vein and elsewhere

you should know  however that that feeling may not be something you noted before or may be due to swelling. Whenever you hang your arm down the veins "fill" due to gravity.  Moving your hand and forearm muscles actually helps to compress the  superficial or surface veins , and the veins in the muscles and aids in returing the blood  back to your deeper veins and ulitmately your heart. So it "can be" normal .....But call the person you are supposed to be seeing for follow up and talk to them. If you dont have a follow up visit call the place where the stitches were put in and ask where to go.

how to treat severe sunburn blisters are popping by themselves and clear liquid is coming out
