No: Not necessarily normal but common. Bloating is a very non-specific symptom associated with everything from irritable bowel to ovarian cancer. It is usually a benign symptom but you should discuss it with your doctor.

Exam/US: Your symptoms are suggestive of gallbladder disease ( stones or inflammation ). See your physician for medication and ultrasound imaging-ASAP!! Try using OTC Nexium (esomeprazole) and Mylanta until seen and evaluated.

See your doctor ASAP: If you have been having these symptoms for more than a week, you should see your doctor right away. You probably need testing to determine if any intestinal blockages or bowel problems are causing your symptoms. If your symptoms worsen, or are associated with any abdominal pain or blood in your stools, you should come to an urgent care center or emergency room immediately.

: The brain communicates with the digestive system and stress and anxiety could be causes of your GI symptoms. A strong pulsation in your abdomen may be related to tension&amp; stress.  I assume your blood pressure has been checked. If chronic tension symptoms  pertains to you,I recommend consulting a mental health professional for stress management therapy.

: It does not matter if you are fasting or not because your bloating feeling can't be detected by ultrasound.
