i am 18 and i constantly feel bloated after eating even if it's a light meal and bloating lasts a couple of hours then debloat by itself however there is no pain accompanied with my bloating so is this something to worry about and what should i do?

Pho...: By "pho" - i assume you mean the vietnamese soup. You may be bloated due to the amount of liquid in it as well as fresh veggies which can stimulate gas production. See your physician if concerned about chronic bloating versus pain.

Bloating: I see you have gluten sensitivity.  A gluten free food plan would be the first place to start.  A lab test from your doc will tell you if you need digestive enzymes (which need to be taken w/food).  A good probiotic can be helpful.  Doctor Ohira's brand is a good one.  Peace and good health.

See your doc : There are many answers to your symptoms which include common or more serious conditions. Bloating by itself would suggest food,choices and trial of simethicone (phasyme et al) and limiting cruciform veggies and beans, but the pain/cramping is worrisome and worth a good exam by your doc to look,for,ulcers or altered transit times. Bloating: Bloating can sometimes be due to the small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. You might want to look into the FODMAP diet, one in which fermentable foods are restricted.  This often helps bloating.
