im 12 weeks pregnant and had scan yesterday, i now can't urinate properly my bladder feels really full but only a little comes out i can't empty my bladder.

Urine Retention: You are describing urinary retention, though pregnancy can also affect the sensation that you are experiencing without actually having retention. If you feel as if your urine output is not what it is normally, you should get to an urgent care center/emergency room for further evaluation.

Incontinence: Incontinence can be classified as chronic or transient (less than 6 months).  Chronic urge incontinence can be classified as stress, urge, mixed, overflow, or functional. Problem be related to UTI or more significant problems such as fistula or uterine prolapse.

Need to drink water: You must be getting in enough fluids to keep your urine from being concentrated. However, it is really a good idea to make water the primary thing that you drink. It is the healthiest thing to drink.

UTI?: Sounds like you may have a urinary tract infection.  See a doctor for a urinalysis to find out.

Depends....: It depends on how much you used, how much body fat you have, and on many other factors.  It has been found to stay "in the system" for more than 6 weeks.  May i suggest, at 16 years old, you focus on school and improving yourself, and stop smoking pot?  Then you won't have to worry about failing a urine test.  Pot won't make your life nearly as good as getting good grades will!

Here are some ...: Few men experience what you described because they cannot relax the muscle pelvic floor muscle around the urethra while people around; that is commonly called bashful bladder. Helpful solution may include: do pelvic floor muscle exercise (Kegel) like that for women 2-3 times daily, try to pee with close friends, and try using alpha-blocker like Terazosin or Flomax (tamsulosin). Of course, be evaluated first.

why can't you exercise when there are ketones in your urine?

Its not an: Absolute contraindication to avoid exercise.  But in diabetics this suggest that they are at a physiologic point where there insulin needs aren't being met and could evolve into a more concerning, even life-threatening process.   Otherwise, without insulin/diabetes issues, ketones in your suggests some element of dehydration or starvation or other acute illness that could be worsened with exercise

Not common: It is not a common experience but can be explained by the fact that when intra abdominal pressure increases it put pressure on the sphincter both  the bladder outlet or the anus . As result , you may have accidents resulting  both number 1 and 2.
It is common for people for instance to have the same experience when they are coughing.

is it bad if my urine doesn't turn brown while taking flagyl?

Accepted Answer

Probably fine: Flagyl (metronidazole) can cause a darkening of urine; however, it does not have to do this. If you are taking the medication as your doctor prescribed and do not have darkening, this can also be normal.

why do i always feel like i have to urinate but can't when i go?

Accepted Answer

Multiple reasons.: Multiple urinary tract issues such as infections or diabetes or neurologic damage as well as side effects of medications can cause these symptoms.  Low back injury may cause neuropathic damage and pain can also affect urination. Please see your pcp.
