i have ear wax buildup in one war. so much so that i bend my  ear and it clogs my hearing. i think it's hereditary as my siblings suffer same. help?

i am having pain in my intertragal notch of my ear. when ever i press on my targus the pain intensifies, it feels like there is a residue building up, like crums of ear wax or dried blood but im not sure. no effect to my hearing. what should i do?

: You may have an infection of the outer ear canal, called otitis externa. To diagnose this, a doctor would need to look into your ear canal with an otoscope and see if there is any drainage in the ear canal. You would then be treated with antibiotic ear drops, if present, and perhaps an oral antibiotic depending on how it responds to the ear drops. So, see a doctor who can look into your ears.

i have a bilateral hearing loss and wear hearing aids. i have itp.  black ear wax and pain in my ear?

Hearing loss: Get this checked out. You could have a ruptured ear drum. The black wax could be dried blood settling into the wax. That could be why your hearing aids aren't working.

i have used olive oil to soften the ear wax in my ears and the olive oil stuck in my ear and  i cannot hear at all.

been using tropex ear drops for a few days. may i know when should i stop using it? it's seems that the ear wax is still inside as i hear noises.

Stop and flush: After using an OTC cerumen drop like Debrox the softened wax needs to be removed from the ear canal. This can be done at Home with a bulb syringe or by your doctor using irrigation or suction. Good luck!

Ear Wax: An accumulation of ear wax in the ear canal can lead to blockage of the canal and act like an ear plug greatly reducing your ability to hear. Q-tips compound the problem by sometimes packing the wax in tightly making it worse.  Removal by your physician or an ENT is helpful. Debrox available over the counter can soften the wax and allow for easier removal. Ear candles are just dangerous.

Some work: Some of them work depending on the amount of wax you have. If wax clears up it will certainly help hearing.

More wax ?: There still may be more wax deeper in the ear canal. Best to see your otolaryngologist.

Hearing: I often find that good organic mineral replacement seems to help with this; most often however this represents  hearing loss; so you may need to have your hearing tested.
